THE VOID: A Graphic Novel [Now Available!]

So so long ago, I started drawing a comic.

The idea was to make it a serialized webcomic that did have a definite end in mind, but after doing a few weeks of it, I realized that it was going to be too hard to do something of this nature on top of everything else I was already doing (or would be doing) weekly as it was, and I would suffocate under the weight of my own release schedule. So instead, I shelved the weekly concept and decided to simply make it a book that, upon completion, would see a full blown retail release. That day has finally come. I finished drawing THE VOID back in September of this year but between formatting it (it’s very different than formatting a novel, so it wasn’t nearly as easy and had a bit of a steep learning curve) and everything else, it still took a while to finally get it print ready, but as of today, my proof copy arrived in the mail and I’m proud to say that after nearly 3 years, THE VOID is for sale.

THE VOID is a fairly personal story in many ways, such like my latest novel that was release, “REGRETLAND“, and draws (not to be cute) upon a lot of actual things that happened in my life, or at least fictionalizes them a bit. It follows a young woman named [REDACTED] who awakens to find herself floating in a multicolored ethereal dreamscape of sorts where her only companion is a disembodied voice who just happens to know everything about her. Together, the voice leads her on a journey through her memories, her traumas and helps her analyze and come to terms with many things including pain, loss, grief, love and anger. THE VOID only runs about 130 pages, but those 130 pages were hand drawn, hand inked, hand written and hand colored, so really, you’re lucky you got that much because I almost ruined my hand creating this bastard.

I am extremely proud of this piece of work, and I really sincerely hope you enjoy it as well. Most of the proceeds from my latest sales will go directly to funding my upcoming severe dental surgeries, so if you like what I do, or you just wanna help me fix my teeth, then please buy a copy! I also hope that perhaps you too can gleam something of use from this story, and maybe feel better by the end of it. All I wanna do is tell stories and hope those stories help people.
